Combine butter, milk, corn syrup, and vanilla in medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until butter is melted. Decrease the heat to low, add the chocolate, and whisk until smooth. Turn off heat, add the powdered sugar, and whisk until smooth.

Notes

You can substitute the 1 oz bittersweet chocolate with cocoa powder by using:

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter
